So Ethan's parents have a dog, but it's interested in nothing but meat scraps fallen to the kitchen floor. We watched the Jesperson's dog for a day and Shawn had fun seeing what dogs are all about. Ethan put together a video illustrating the introduction. We hope you don't get too weirded out by it.

Seriously, Mary and I nearly cried while watching that video. That was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Watching Shawn's facial expressions alone is classic! I must say you are extremely trusting of Tapio's behavior. You always have that fear that the dog will bite your kid's nose off. But not Tapio, he just likes to give sweet love. :-)

You were right, with the music it weirded me out a bit, jk :) It was adorable to see how Shawn just lets the dog lick him. I would love to get together, when do you come to Salt Lake again? I can come to Provo, too... I just babysit 4 days a week. Hope things are going well :)

That was so incredibly cute. I thought Shawn's face was classic. He just sat there until the dog left then ok now he's gone, but wait here he comes again. It is freakin' awesome. Love ya We need to get together again sometime.
